While you are getting acclimated to this online course environment, you may wish to explore the concept of RSS aggregators. This is the service I mentioned that will make your life easier when it comes to managing the feeds from multiple blogs. There is a link at the bottom of the Wikipedia article that provides you a resource list on types of aggregators.
Here are a few that I have tried:
Bloglines – An online blog reader which makes your feeds available from any computer with an Internet connection.
Pluck – An aggregator plug-in for your browser.
SharpReader – A stand-alone aggregator.
And for my Mac friends, try BlogBridge (works for PC and Linux too!).
